The App is designed so that your core data is either stored locally on your device or sent directly from your device to third-party API providers, bypassing our servers entirely.

3. Information We DO NOT Collect

We want to be perfectly clear about the data we never access, collect, or store on our servers:

  • Audio Recordings & Transcripts: All audio you record and the resulting text transcriptions are processed on your device or sent directly to the third-party transcription service you have configured. They are never sent to Ozmoz AI's servers.
  • AI Prompts and Responses: The content of your interactions with AI models is not collected or stored by us.
  • History and Configurations: Your usage history and app settings are stored exclusively on your local device.

4. Information We Process

To operate our service and manage your subscription, we process a very limited amount of data:

  • License Information: We process the email address associated with your license key to validate your purchase, manage your subscription, and provide customer support. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of our contract with you.
  • Payment Information: Payments are handled by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full credit card details. We only receive transaction confirmations, such as your subscription status (active/canceled) and plan type.

5. Data Processing by Third-Party Services

The App’s functionality relies on third-party services. When you use the App, you are sending data directly to them, and your data is governed by their respective privacy policies. We encourage you to review them:

  • Transcription Services (e.g., Deepgram): Your audio data is sent to these services for transcription.
  • AI Model Providers (e.g., Groq): Your text prompts are sent to these services for AI-powered assistance.

We have selected partners who are leaders in their field, but we are not responsible for their privacy practices.

6. Data Security

By keeping your core data on your local device, we minimize your exposure to data breaches. You are responsible for the security of your own device and the API keys you use. We secure our own systems (like license validation) using industry-standard practices.

7. Your Data Rights (GDPR and other regulations)

You have rights over the limited personal data we hold (your license and payment information). These rights include:

  • Right to Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
